Editorial Guidelines

The International Journal of Interventional Psychology (IJIP) follows a rigorous and transparent editorial process to ensure the publication of high-quality, ethical, and impactful research in the field of Interventional Psychology. These guidelines outline the responsibilities and procedures followed by the editorial team.

The IJIP is published under the guidance of journal committee constituted by the Governing body of AIP. It appoints the Editor- in -Chief, Managing Editors, Executive Editor, Associate editor and Editorial board- which oversees the publication. The journal committee members and the Editors disclaim all liability for the opinions stated by the authors.

  1. Editorial Board Responsibilities

The IJIP Editorial Board is responsible for:

  • Upholding the academic integrity and scientific quality of published articles.
  • Managing the peer review process in a fair, unbiased, and timely manner.
  • Ensuring ethical publication standards, including conflict-of-interest management.
  • Facilitating collaboration among reviewers, authors, and editors to improve manuscript quality.
  • Making final publication decisions based on editorial and peer review recommendations.
  1. Ethical & Editorial Standards

The IJIP Editorial Board follows ethical publication practices, including:

  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts and reviewer identities remain confidential.
  • Conflict of Interest Management: Editors must disclose potential conflicts and recuse themselves when necessary.
  • Plagiarism & Research Misconduct: Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, falsified data, or duplicate publication will be rejected or retracted.
  • Retractions & Corrections: If errors are identified post-publication, the editorial team will issue necessary corrections or retractions.
  1. Editorial Decision & Publication Process
  • Accepted manuscripts are copyedited for clarity, grammar, and formatting.
  • Authors receive final proofs for approval before online publication.
  • Articles are published in the next available issue and indexed accordingly
