Reviewers Guidelines
The International Journal of Interventional Psychology (IJIP) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and scientific rigor. Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of publications by providing objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
We genuinely appreciate the reviewers who volunteer their time to peer-review manuscripts for our Journal. High quality academic publishing is built on rigorous peer review. Peer review is a crucial step in the publication process since it helps IJIP maintain the highest standards for the articles it publishes. All submissions to our journals are subjected to rigorous peer assessment by professionals.
A reviewer must make a conscious effort to approach the material they are evaluating with positivity and objectivity. The goal of your position should be to support the author and act as their partner in order to advance clear and correct scientific communication.
Reviewer need to possess at least a Ph.D. Reviewers with academic/research background is preferred. Reviewer with appropriate expertise and a track record of publications in the topic represented by the submitted article is preferred. (Scopus, ORCID preferred).
Make sure to send the submission back to the editor right away with a justification if you aren't convinced to evaluate a particular Manuscript objectively.
Reviews should be finished quickly, in 10 to 15 days. Please let the editor know if you believe you won't be able to complete the review in the allotted time.
- Role of Reviewers
Reviewers are responsible for:

- Peer Review Process
- Invitation & Assignment
Reviewers are invited by the Editor-in-Chief based on their expertise.
Upon receiving an invitation, reviewers should:
- Accept if they have the expertise and time.
- Decline if the manuscript is outside their area of expertise or if they have a conflict of interest.
- Reviews should be completed within 2-3 weeks from acceptance of the invitation.

- Reviewers should provide a detailed, constructive, and respectful review.
- Avoid personal opinions; feedback should be evidence-based.
- Suggested decision recommendations include:
✅ Accept as is – Minor or no revisions needed.
✅ Minor revisions required – Small improvements suggested.
✅ Major revisions required – Substantial modifications needed.
❌ Reject – Manuscript is unsuitable for publication.
- Confidentiality & Ethical Responsibilities
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts under review must not be shared or discussed with others.
- Conflict of Interest: If a reviewer has a conflict (e.g., prior collaboration with the author), they must decline the review.
- Plagiarism & Misconduct: Report any suspected plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical violations to the editor.
